I'm doing a swap on my new 90 crx soon..just want to know if i can retain my ac and what do i need to retain that ac..

If you had a/c in your rex before the b16 swap, then you should be fine. Ask the guy at the shop to use your old compressor if your b16 doesnt come with one. Nothing to the a/c will be touched but the compressor when they do your swap.

 

also...dunno if this will help, but hasport has a new A/C bracket that you can use with the installation of the compressor. if you decide no to use it...u can always just run it off the two bolts that u can bolt the A/C to the stock bracket of the b16.

Yeah.... My interior cooling mechanism is similar. I just use 4-70 formula coolant.... Roll down 4 windows and go 70...

 

I guess someone had to step up. Yes you can and I am proof of it. As far as I know you must use a B series comp. I have a HCP kit. The comp. is off the SIr from Japan. Therefore it uses the original mount. You can also use one off a SI or Delsol. You have to have the two hoses made off the comp. thats it. Any other questions feel free to email me.
