1989 CRX DX Problems
So this is what my car is doing......
When I accelerate, it seems as if something is getting stuck. It will go to a really high RPM and just flutter there as I am accelerate going a very minimal speed. I can then let off the gas and try again and it will eventually accelerate properly. We thought that it could be something in the tranny, but we just replaced the tranny about 5-10k miles ago. When we got the tranny it only had 30k on it. The car is an automatic and I do not drive it like crap. It has pretty much only been driven on long highway trips.
Does anyone has any other ideas as to what might be wrong with it. Any info is appreciated.
Thanks!!

Check your tranny fluid with automatics they tend to "slip" with low tranny fluid. You should even have a dipstick to check it with atleast my automatic 91 CRX DX did?

I get awesome gas mileage. I get around 35-40mpg.
