AC messes with the Idle
I also have this problem.
Everytime I turn on my AC the Rpms will jump up from 700 to 1500.
Then I turn it off and its fine...
I think it has something to do with my cold air intake..I just installed it a couple of weeks ago.
Before I dont remember having this problem but then again it might not have anything to do with it.
I'll appreciate any info.

dude!! valdosta? i used to live waaaaaay down there, worked at moody, dropped outta vsu, went to lowndes. god i feel for you. i mean, it could be cool for you i guess, if you're a good ol' boy.
anyhow - the extra strain caused by the AC causes the rpm to jump, i think controlled by the IACV. it may be more noticable with the intake, too. it's a good thing, because now you won't stall out when the air comes on. when my IACV went bad, my car would stall if i was at idle speed witht he AC on.
