well i just got my 88 crx si, and first thing i really don't care for is the sunroof if metal, my accord has a glass one and i like that one, does anyone know if what other year sunroofs will fit, i'd perfer to stay OEM, as i have junkyard hook ups, also, what would cause it to not close all the way, it comes all the way forward but doesn't 'pop' up all the way in the back?.. from searching there seems to be alot of problems with Si sunroof's.. anyone have any information?

chop the roof off and make it a convertable

i don't know i don't have a sun roof but i would like to get one and install it, then that would be sweet, did any hatches come with sunroofs? now that i think about it ive never seen a 88-91 hatch with a s/r, did it come on si's?

No other sunroofs will fit. You're stuck with whatcha got unless you get a carbon fiber or fiberglass filler plug and seal it off.

You could be having issues with cable adjustment if it doesn't lift/lower like it should. I wish I could help you more but I haven't done it myself so I don't know.

Si hatches did come with a glass panel (moonroof or sunroof, whatever you want to call it) where the CRX Si had the metal panel. Would have been easier on everyone if the CRX had just had the glass, but whatever.

Your CRX sunroof has rails on it... I don't think any of the glass ones do...

I saw a CRX that lookled like it had a glass one. If I ever get a hold of the guy who owned it I can ask him if it was or not. If not then the sunroof was a different color than car lol. I wish my CRX had a sunroof but that's probably a pain in the *** to add for my car so I guess I live without it
