Honestly its not very hard. The hardest part for me was replacing the pedal assembly, otherwise it was pretty straight forward. All you need would be the tranny, clutch cable, manual ECU, pedal assembly, and the rear mount. You can pick up most of that from the junkyard pretty cheap except the tranny possibly, as for the ECU there is plenty of people that probably have a manual DX (pm5) ECU laying around to get rid of cheap but my suggestion is that if your going to do an auto to manual swap that you do a DPFI to MPFI swap as well. So then you really feel a difference in power I mean sure there is quite the different feel from an auto to a 5spd but still you can get even more with the MPFI swap.
As for what he said about selling the auto and buying a stick. Personally I dont think that was a very smart comment, I mean its hard enough finding a CRX to begin with let alone trying to sell yours then trying to buy one for around the same price. The only advantages to selling and buying a different one would be for either getting the better model (Si) or the lighter model (HF) OR if your lazy and dont want to mess with an auto to manual swap and if thats the case you shouldnt be trying to mod your car anyway.
