Any specifics on why SPC is better? IS it construction or functionality?

ya need a uper control arm aftermarket, cause the HOnda one got a fixed baljoint, other one got a removable ball joint, so, you got a kit with only balljoint: you need aftermarket uper control arm, like they got at UAP NAPA or other part's retailler.
hope this help,

Not completely true.... the 90-91 CRX a arms have removable ball joints..
SPC makes the adjustable ball joints also.. The only problem is that wit the addition of these units, and a fair amount of drop (H&R sports) the nut on the adjustable ball joints will knock into your fender well...so you don't get full use of your suspension..

I just got done installing this kit. all i got to say is be prepare for some grinding and hammering. the rear kit install with little effort, but the front are a pain in the ***. if your car is drop more then 2" you will probaly end up using the whole 3.75 degree. overal this kit works great for the low budget people.

Take your choice folks-it depends on whether you plan to race the car as well. The class some of us run (IT-A) does not allow the balljoint solution so we use things like the Ingalls or SPC anchor bolt kits up front (have to modify the inner fender a little for clearance). We are required to only use washers/shims and bolts in the rear for adjustment. If you autocross then the Ingalls or SPC adjustable upper rear arms are great (had em on the Civic). My Prelude happens to use the balljoint solution up front and the Ingalls kits in back.
If you are not using the car for competition, then get what you need based on the alignment prinout. That is the only thing that will tell you how much correction you really need.

i've got a brand new still in box, never mounted Ingalls kit for the civic/crx. been sittign in my garage for a few months, and i sold the crx, looking to get 120.oo plus shipping. get at me if interested.

right now i have dropzone coilovers with the accord shocks up front, i haven't lowered the back yet but will be getting dropzones as well.
what exactly needs to be cut and grinded when installing the camber kit??? is the ingalls the same way?
