Ok, So I've done my mini me swap with a d16y8 head on my D16a6 block. I'm using the y8 intake. I've spliced all of the odb1 plug connectors on the ecu.. so thats pinned out. now I've got the clips from the odb1 harness for the injectors but how do i wire them up.

I've tried just solidering them where the old clips were but this isnt working at all...


Do i replace more than just the clips to make the injectors work?

any help is appreciated...

if u havent done all the MPFI wiring..... i recomend u do so asap

as far as the conector u need OBDO not the oBD1

 

are you using a obd1 ecu, if so are you using the crx resistor box if so that is your problem you need to run the injectors straight to the computer

 

It's a si so its already mpfi. and I'm runnin a odb1 p28. and i know that my old odb0 injectors wont work. i was just wonderind whats the deal with the new injectors..


i cliped the old injector clips off and wired the new ones up. now one wire from the clip go's to the ecu... the other wire go's to the resistor box..

now i know i need to remove the resistor box.. its that second wire im confused about..

to use obd1 injectors you have to put hte new clips on. what i would do is run the si injectors iwth resister box and you will be fine.

 

unfortunatly i destroyed the old clips takin them off. and the rings on the old injectors are bad so i need to use the odb1's

so the injector clips just wire back into the old clips place... well... what about the resistor box... where do all those wires go? cause thats the other leg of the injector's
