Default code 5

alright i just got my car running after the mpfi swap..and i start it and it idles at 2500...but as soon as i push the gas in the car rev's up by itself and throws a code 5...whats wrong??

code 5 is the MAP sensor

if u have a Z6 manifold is that sensor on top of the manifold....
if u using a 88-91 manifold then its the 3 cable conector on the firewall that has hoses and stuff....
make sure u got them conected

how do i check the map sensor with a multi-meter??
