CBR600RR Mileage
Hey guys!
You guys with the CBR600RR's in particular, how many km's or miles do you get to the tank? I was down to 1 block on my fuel guage and I had only ridden her about 138km. (82miles I think) That seems really low to me. Can this be normal? I am breaking her in still so I've been trying to keep her below 5k rpm but still, should my mileage be better?
Any info or comparisons are welcome!
Thanks

How many miles do you have on your bike? During the brake in period, or when the engine is not completely broken in yet, you MPG may run a little lower than normal. I know that my F4i averaged about 90 miles per tank when she was new. Now she averages about 120MPT before all four bars appear (not blinking).

I have about 1600 miles on my RR. I can easily get about 135-140 on a tank if I ride for a little bit with the last bar blinking. I usually fill up as soon as I can once I get down to 1 bar. check out http://www.600rr.net and do a search under mileage.

120MPG? Dang, you can go 600 miles without a fillup????

Heck no! I once did 130+ but all 4 bars were blinking. On the track, I usually get about 80-90mpt before I need to fill up.

All you people with your "my-light-is-on-so-I-need-gas" techno-wizardry!!! Sheesh! Lucky for you, you don't live in the dark ages like I do. Just flip it to Reserve baby!!!
I get about 130-140 miles before I have to flip to reserve, so it supposedly should go 150 (but I don't want to risk pushing my bike).

I am within the range that everyone is stating. ~120-130 mpT
On another note, my dealer said to keep it below 12K during break in. Someone stated that they've been keeping it below 5K. I hope I'm not going too nuts on the thing.
I couldn't imagine staying below 5K for 600 miles. I'd go crazy.
