Default Sponsorship

I know you guys are pretty strict about tech-only stuff in the RR/AX, but I thought this I just joined my school's Formula SAE team. It's where college students design, build, and race in a nationwide competition. Right now we're in the process of building the car for the competition in May. I was wondering if anyone was interested in sponsoring our team either by donating parts or money. All donations are completely tax deductable. Every little bit helps guys. If any of you own business it is great exposure for your business. The competions are covered by several different automotive magazines (Autoweek, Car and Driver, etc) and this year will also be broadcasted nationally on ESPN! If anyone has anymore questions email me at AWB@email.arizona.edu or just PM me. Also, our website is http://formula.engr.arizona.edu

Thanks,
Andrew

I`d learn how to spell "sponsorship" before you go any further with this post.

give it more than 30 minutes.

but given that many here are looking for sponsorship as well, you may be barking up the wrong tree.

Don't you think focusing on talking to local business for sponsorship might be more productive?

You might have more luck pan-handling on a freeway on-ramp than in here...

Good Luck

I think your best bet is to contact anybody *other* than people who are seeking the same thing. It's like asking a small kid to give you candy.

The correct spelling of "sponsorship" will turn up many helpful threads - most of them are archived.

And look at who other schools are using for sponsorship - many of the sponsors are helping out several teams.
