Any 6 1/2 inch speaker will fit, but you may have to trim the plastic basket in the hole to get the magnet to fit. Buy the best speakers you can afford.

 

Also, go to Best Buy and get a set of Honda speaker harnesses, Metra part number 72-7800 ($5.99). They'll allow you to plug the new speakers into the factory wiring, and not have to cut plugs off and splice wires. Allows for a cleaner install, and easier when you get rid of the car and want to pull your speakers out and put the old ones back in.

 

Yes, they are 6.5" speakers. You will want speakers with a maximum depth of 1 15/16". You can go with bigger ones, but then you may need to modify your car somewhat, if you stick to 1 15/16" or less, it should be a straight swap as far as fitting it in goes.

Check out http://www.crutchfield.com for the depth of whatever speakers you are looking at.

Your back speakers are 6"x9", and you can have a maximum depth of 8".
