CRX Dash in a Civic... (Bad Idea??)
My is pretty messed up. I was considering buying a dash. Only I can find right now is a CRX. Will my vents, radio, cluster hud, and so forth bolt right into the CRX dash? Is it a bad idea to do that swap?
i put a crx dash in my civic without any problems. kept the civic hvac controls, too.
no wiring changes needed. i did put an 88 crx si dash into an 89 civic, so the wiring was the same.

I did the swap...it fits right in.
You will need the metal casing for the HVAC cotnrols from the CRX if I'm not mistaken, along with the metal brace that ties it to the floor.
If you keep the civic HVAC, no real wiring changes, its plug and play.....if you change HVAC, you need to instal some of teh servo motors etc.
