I got to drive a 4 cyl 2001 EX and was completely impressed by the ride quality, the quiet and even the shifting of the tranny, however trying to pass someone?? GOOD LUCK! The car has NO pick up... I swear my 93 Accord is faster (given it's a 5 speed) but all the added weight of the new EX compared to a 93 Honda really should have rethunk the engine choices. Nissan Maxima - V-6 no matter what... why does honda's "flagship" only have a 4 cylinder? Honda needs to get on it IMHO. But still it's a VERY nice car. Just don't try to beat anyone out at the stop lights!

THen again I drive the ITR and then realize the Accord V-6 even seems slow... it's all in the delivery of the fun.

in terms of power, i dunno...i raced my friends 2001 EX stock coupe(stick) with my '96 DX stick sedan(AEM CAI) and i started pulling hard in 3rd...so i dont know if things can get that much better hp wise with the auto tranny and the lease...
