Default New steering wheel!

I remember when this wheel came out everyone talked about how much they hated it but I fell in love I'd always wanted a Sparco suede wheel and when I started looking into getting one I realized the Mugen wasn't that much more expensive. If anyone has any questions on how to rig up the horn feel free to ask me, I found some of the posts on how to get it working rather confusing.

350mm is the perfect size

Thanks to jdmjunky for the hub

Pic w/ the stock wheels back on

I also prefer suede. Just worried about how quickly it wears...

Yeah I've thought about that too but just figured that wear will add character

Hey Smitdog, I was looking through old posts and saw you had a FG360 in a Prelude. Was your Prelude a white sportshift? I remember seeing a white BB6 w/ the FG360 at Norwalk a few years back and wondered if it was you.

OMG what a Small world........

The white Sport was my good freinds Lude. I had a 01' Silver 5spd Lude with a JRSC on it. I had bought the Fg360 from the guy with the white Lude.

- Should of not sold that wheel!!!

haha weird, that white one was really nice aside from being a sportshift

Wonder how many of us used to own Preludes? I always loved my Prelude when I had it but I haven't regretted getting rid of it once

nice. My friends just got me a non SRS JDM ITR wheel. Can't wait to get that on. I will probably need some info on how to hook up the horn. Also is there a plug/hack or something I can use to turn off the SRS light and keep the passanger side airbag working? Also, what happened to your center caps?

I would assume w/ the OEM non-SRS wheel there is a plug for the horn so that shouldn't be a problem. As far as the SRS light you will have two wires going into a yellow plug for your SRS, you can measure the resistance across your airbag and place a resistor between these two wires. I've heard you will need a 2.2 ohm resistor but haven't done it yet. This should keep the plug working on the passenger side.

Centercaps are sitting in the garage

I followed this post but found it rather confusing: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=437448

Basically you have to ground the horn wire on one of the bolts that used to hold the steering reel and mount a feeler gauge bent up so it is always touching the back of the hub. Wire up the horn button in the hub according to Momo's instructions and there you go, working horn

Suede will get shiny and lose the slightly rough texture because of oils from your hands. A little saddle soap and a brush will bring it back to life

OR

you could be super **** and wear gloves all the time - the suede will stay nicer much much longer if you do that - but it requires discipline and a tolerance for weird looks from other drivers.

I'm not above wearing gloves at all times to protect my bling. Plus it'll make me feel like more of a racecar driver Thanks for the advice

Very nice wheel.

Anyone know how much smaller is it to the stock wheel? If at all?
