Default how to improve upon the VTEC effect?

well i was thinking that if i want all-motor power from a dohc vtec engine i would have to improve upon the effect of vtec itself, well my question is what are ways to make vtec better and stronger? not just I/H/E. is there different cams that have different effects on a vtec engine or do they all do pretty much the same thing? i guess cams are really the only way of improving vtec since vtec has alot to do with the cams. i want vtec to pull me like a small shot of nos, LOL

no you don't.. you want VTEC to be smooth... yes changing cams will make the VTEC more powerful, but will also improve the non-VTEC portion of the motor. You'll most likely need to up your compression before/while adding cams to get the full benifits.

most aftermarket cams, including ours have a big change when it goes from the small to big lobe.

ours scream pretty loud when they hit vtec

set your vtec to crossover at 7000, get JUN III cams and 14.0:1 compression pistons, set nitrous to engage at 6500, and you'll definetely feelthe crossover
