It can be done, but you can do a lot more by adjusting how you drive. Why do you ask?

what would happen if you lowered your fuel pressure? I assume it the injector would squirt less fuel. ... then again I really dont know, just an idea.

if you have something like hondata, then you can street tune and it will help with gas milage.. either way, most of it will depend on weight of your foot.

only way to save gas by tuning is to lean it out, which is dangerous for the motor

keep your foot out of it is the way to do it.

suck it up turbo cars use alot of gas, should have expected it.

or just buy a beater car

If you have properly tuned engine management and stay out of boost, you shouldn't use much more fuel than stock. But then, what fun is a boosted car if you stay out of boost???

i dont see why people think that bigger injectors have anything to do with your gas milage. If you are running 12 to 1 a/f ratio across the board with 550cc injectors and then you switch to 1000cc injectors and still run 12 to 1 a/f ratio across the board you are still using the same amount of gas just at a lower duty cycle.

Gas milage is determined by your need for speed.
