Suspension and tire/wheel upgrade questions
For sometime now, I've been told by others (S2000 owners or not) that by lowering the car actually hurts the handling. Same for changing the S-02 that's on the stock wheel. Honda specifically design the car with that tire and it suppose to perfrom very well out of the box. Is this true? Any comment from owners that lower or has aftermarket wheels and different tires?
One of the car mags (Road&Track or Car& Driver) just recently did a test of two aftermarket S2000s with superchargers and suspension kits. They commented on the negative affect lowering the car had on handling.
Car & Driver also did a recent road test of the Mugen S2000 with the Mugen N-0 full coilover setup - and had very positive comments - but that car had a custom King Motorsports bump steer kit too and LOTS of suspension tuning I imagine.

I haven't lower the car. But I have heard lowering the car may cause more fish tail. I don't imagine lowering the car unless I get a Mugen coilover. I defitnitely advice getting Spoon X Brace first. Changing to SO3 pole position wouldn't hurt the performance that bad. I rather give a little dry for more wet stability.
