Need some tips on turbo/kit options
Hey guys, only posted a few times here, but basicly im more then postitive ill be getting a 93 CX. I was reading on Swaps and H22 was my choice, well for the price of the swap of an H22A, it was around the same for a Turbo kit. Now im an DSM guy so i know a good amount about turbos so i woudl like to stay on that path.
Now what is the stock motor in the 93 Cx is it a D15? sorry if thats a stupid one
Do they also make Kits for the engine, and if so what is the difference if i was to swap in the future what changes in the kits other than IC piping?
where is a good place to get a kit?
Thanks for the help guys please let me know of other stuff too if i left it out

you could do the h22 swap and turbo, but there much better honda engines to boost (not hatin' on the h22's) but the choice of engine for boost is b18c1(gsr)
and since you know lots about turbos, you should go ahead and piece together your own system. get better parts. with good tuning and proper fuel management, you can expect about 250-300 whp on about 8-11 psi depending on tuning.

So are you saying that i can make around 250-280WHP on the D15 with some tune and dyno time, or did you mean i need that B18 swap?
I would much rather get a turbo kit first since i would have much more fun with that, then a swap. Is the D15 strong enough for 7psi and up to 10? WIth a base kit on at 7psi what do you think a cx coul run?
Thanks for the help
Ps where is a good place to buy parts for a turbo setup or is it cheeper to buy a kit say froom drag?
