noob question, did a search, wat's the diff between sohc and dohc engines?
just like the topic, wat's the difference between sohc and dohc engines, which is better in ur opinion, why? (heh, that almost sounded like one of my test questions from today, asking my opinion and why, just this ones about cars, not history 
)

Dohc is dual over head cam sohc is singlw over head cam.... Dohcs in my mind are better for performance, hopups, and breathe better and how to tell the difference is the timing belt is on 2 camgears instead of 1 and most of the time the Dohc banks are wider.

legit question i guess... but sir, how do have 95 posts and not have any idea?? my aunt has a dog with three legs and I thought THAT was weird

1993 Honda Civic CX Hatchback- Project: !.8 litre... err.. liter
let's just put it simple, i guess i haven't been looking at very technical simple stuff, or just not paying enough attention, to be honest, i'm looking for a project car, i'm getting ideas and keeping mental notes and some of the ones i know i won't remember i'm writting down actually, pretty sad huh?

DOHC= dual over head, One cam is for exhaust and one for intake!!
SOHC= single over head cam, one cam for both exhaust and intake together!!
SOHC= single over head cam, one cam for both exhaust and intake together!!
