Default Will Spoon Ever Make a New Wheel?

I like Spoon, and the SW388's are wicked light - but a bit ugly. Will Spoon ever give us more wheel choices?

The Russian made SW388 is a race wheel that is "purpose built". So I assume Spoon wont be releasing any new wheels. Aren't Regamasters the same wheel?

I am sure they will keep Having Desmond make the SW388's Until one of them designs a wheel of higher quality and lower weight, Remember The Spoons are used for Race not looks So chances are even if they do come out with a new design it wont be the prettiest.

H PIMP - Yes The Spoon and Regamaster Evo are the same just different colors All Made by Desmond.
Spoon - Flat Black in 15" or 16"
Desmond Regamaster Evo - White, Silver, Almight Gray, and "Bright" (a polished look) in 15" 16" and 17" (Although the 17" Won't Fit as it is 17x8 with 35mm offset)

so does sp00m have all these parts made to get cheaper cost for their race team? They just sell the extras...basically, they get the race parts they need*and* make money t00. If that's the case, Ichishima-san is brilliant - juju

until something even lighter comes out i would guess no.

but remember.... desmond wheels got this ugly because of weight reduction. if they get it any lighter, can u imagine how much uglier they will become?

Actually, I was waiting to release this, but now is a good time. There is a new lightweight soon to be on the block. It is called Joustmeister (dont know why). No official weights have been released on 15 and 16, but the 17 weighs...drum roll...12 lbs! I will see if I cant source a pic and post it up later.

Monstersports also has verison of the current Spoon wheel. I believe there is other companies as well have there own labeled verison. The new wheel which is in question I believe is for the new released ITR in Japan...as also for the new CTR as well.

The SSR type C (Competition from Tire Rack) is only 13 lbs in 17", and it is (relatively) cheap, readily available, and looks pretty good. I just put a set on my WRX.
