Hello yall!

I seem to have a problem everytime I accelerate after just braking to a stop. Meaning, after I brake, as I push on the acceleration, the car would launch. This happens only when I'm braking and the RPM is below 1000. Sometimes, the acceleration would be smooth when I brake above 1000 RPM.

What is my problem here? Any help would be nice.

I dont really understand what your saying. Could you clarify urself a bit.

Oh and do u have a five speed or automatic.

If u have five speed maybe theirs something wrong with your clutch.

If you have an automatic, maybe you have knocked into a sport setting, or maybe your in D3 , D2 or something by accident ???

 

Sorry for confusing you.

For example, when coming toward a red light and you're braking...then, all of a sudden, the lights turn green... you then accelerate and the car doesn't go smoothly... it lauches...

What do you mean by sport setting??

 

Im pretty sure the surging you feel is normal, its just the tranny getting into teh right gear.

 

seems to me, you push your accelerate pedal too deep
try accelerate the car more smoothly

 

ya, if you push it too deep it'll violently downshift. Especially like 45-50mph range..... *shrug*.....no problems I don't think...although understanding exactly what you are saying is kind of complicated...
