if you do have a dc2 (gsr) its an absolute pain to get the curved intake manifold off.
its easy to put the skunk2 on, but really really hard to get the first one off.
but i kinda have wide hands, u will for sure need to get under the car to take off the bottom bolts

yeah i think it's better to do as much of the modifacations on your car yourself, but if you don't want to take the time and effort just take it to a shop.
this thread is funny.. do it yourself.. here is a list of tools you will need..
12mm wrench.
12mm socket with extension
17 or 22 socket for fuel line
3/8 drive ratchet
plyers for the coolant hoses
razor blade to remove residue from old intake manifold gasket (if it rips) if not reuse it.
you should have it done within a few hours.

yeah, I would suggest doing it yourself. I have done two myself already (two different motors). Trust me, its not hard. Set aside a couple hours for yourself. Also, go into the installation knowing something isn't going to work out right. Cause, for some reason, intake manifolds are a really bitchy install. Everytime I do one, I always have a random problem, usually associated with a vaccum leak. Make sure you scrape ALL the old gasket off the head before putting the new gasket on or you WILL have a leak. Other than that, its pretty easy, and like I said it only takes a few hours. You will be happy you did it yourself and didn't pay someone to do it for you.
SO u guys really think i should do it myself huh. The only things i know how to do on my car are changing oil, replacing shocks, replacing springs, camber kit, did the BSQ type r rear sway bar, rear lower tie bar, changing radiator fluid. Do u think i can still do it?

Yes, I think you are quite capable. An intake manifold isn't a hard install. Hell, I swapped my first motor into my car almost two years ago and back then I barely knew anything and the motor started up and ran perfectly
Every first time install has a few humps you gotta get over or around, but you should be fine. Besides, you have H-T at your disposal. If you get lost during install, you can come on here and I am sure there will be someone more than happy to help you out.
