I wouldn't buy this car at any price. Sounds like it wasn't maintained at all. Auto tranny will die soon = $2k+

 

Can't you still get the recall work done? Get an alignment done (~ $50), give it a tuneup (whatever is needed for a '96). Hand wash and wax the exterior, vacuum and shampoo the interior & use armor all on the dash. Pick up a decent, but cheap radio off of ebay and put it in (maybe $60?).

What happened to it, why was it salvaged? Are you sure that there are airbags, or did they just toss on a new cover?

I wouldn't pay much for it, but if you get it cleaned up I assume it will sell for at least $3K or so to somebody who thinks that all Hondas will run forever.

 

ive got a stock radio out of a 94 that should fit ill sell it for pretty cheap
