Default Crower Stg 2 cams, any reviews?

About to drop in the Crower Stage 2 cams. Mods include: DC header/CAI/camgears/pulleys/JUN chipped ECU.

Any reviews on these cams yet? Thanx!

I like them, dyno'd 195whp after being tuned. Pulls great all the way to my 8100 redline.

One thing you may want to consider is getting a VAFC and getting it dyno tuned. When I took it to the dyno to get it tuned after having my motor built with the crower valve train (including springs and retainers) the motor was running WAY lean in VTEC on the first baseline run. Not a good thing. Just a suggestion, don't drive it hard until you get it tuned.

Thanx! 195whp is awesome! What other mods do you have in it, if you don't mind?

And yes, an S-AFC will be in the works after I get everything installed. Are you still on stock injectors/pump too?

Stock fuel and ignition. Most of the basic bolt on mods, Intake, DC Header, Greddy PE exhaust, stock cat, AEM pullies, and a Dinan Chip(Raised my rev limiter to 8100). I did a complete rebuild, polished crank with new bearings, Type-S 11:1 .25mm oversize pistons, Eagle rods, with the crower head package, cams, springs and retainers, and a V-AFC.

I want to go make another dyno run so I can compare apples to apples. I had a base line 3 years ago with all the bolt ons and put down 176whp. After the rebuild, I put down 195. Now, the reason I want to make another run is the 176 was on one guys dyno in 4th gear, and the tuned 195 was on another in 3rd gear. The guy that tuned my car said everyone dyno's higher on the other guy's dyno. Why? I don't know, that's why I'd like to see what I can put down on the other dyno.

Long story short, I made a good 20whp from these cams with the V-AFC.

Like I said before, best advise I can give you is to get it tuned before you rev it into VTEC.

Get rid of that stock cat and that DC header and you'll be over 200whp.

Greddy is the best header that is readily available.

About to get my bro's H22-Civic dyno-tuned tomorrow. Has Crower Stage 2 cams with their titanium retainers, springs, and valves. Ported and polished head. Intake & exhaust port matched. Apexi Vafc.

I will post results when I get them.

Next year, next spring that is. I'm hoping to get a SMSP header, I figure that should be enough time, but if not, I will be opting for a custom one built by my father, or the Greddy with a high flow cat.

CBR, are you going to Elite???
