its stuck on the tranny side but i'm not taking the axle completly out, i'm just trying to remove it from the hub side so i can take the spindle out and replace. it's almost coming out but its being a little bitch and doesn't want to. i don't have a prybar with me, i'm trying to do this at my apartment and all i have are basic tools. help please, are they're any tips or just beat the **** out of it until it comes out?

OK, wait. You are trying to remove the AXLE to replace the Hub???

You should be able to just remove the 32mm Retainer ON THE HUB, and a 17 MM at the top and bottom of the spindle. that will have the hub handed to you...

Don't forget the brake lines and that there is a GIANT C clip holding that hub in place when you get it on a press. I trusted a friend took out that C-Clip, and I put nearly a ton on it before it gave. C Clip took out a hunk of concrete floor that can hold a drink of water.

If that had been my leg...
