ACT - heavy duty pressure plate w/ street disc

or

ACT - heavy duty Pressure Plate w/ 6 puc race disc

i think the street disc will suit my need's but i dont want to have problems down the road. What do you think i should get? by the way i'm going N/A

how's enguagment? also how's the pedal feel, my friend has a HD pressure plate with a JEL 6puc disk (or 4 puc one of those) and it's not too bad, i guess the JEL disc is suppost to have springs in it though so that helps it out

I know the street disc isnt giong to be like the racing disc but i also dont want another ***** as clutch, i want one thats going to hold the power for a long as time.

Also any good shops in OC i can get this done at, i'm going to call dynamics today but mostlikly there backed up for a fucken month or two

Hmm...3 years?

My ACT organic disc lasted 3 months

Id recommend a sprung 6 puck disc (so not ACT). Unsprung discs are pretty harsh on the driveline.

yes breaking in the clutch properly is very important. Ok so i called dynamics and they recommended a Xtrm Pressure plate with Street disc. What do you guys think. On ACT website they say it will hold 319 lb/tq so i think that will do. How's enguagement. How's the pedal pressure. How much play do i have with the clutch or will it be quick like my friends 6 puc.

long time no talk SYSTEM this is TKBLAZER from way back when on SHO.....anyways i've had my ACT street disc with HD pp for about 2 months and pedal feel is a lot like stock not hard at all...but the engagement is pretty damn good. Car feels more torquey since the clutch grabs so well...definitely a good clutch to go with...i believe many 13people on this board use this clutch

TKBlazer: Hey man, havnt talked to you for a while ( or actaully anybody ) i've kinda been getting board with these boards there seams to be nothing interesting on them anymore. Were'd you get you clutch installed at? Right now from what i've been told it's probably my master cylinder or slave cylinder. But they also think the clutch is fucked too and that this caused it. If i do need a clutch i'm going to go with the Xtrm Pressure plate and Street Disc i think.
