tires for street/track?
okay so out of all the choices in the world i have come down to 4. Bridgestone SO-3 pole positions, Kuhmo Ecsta MX, BF Goodrich G-force KDW, and Toyo T1-S... how do they handle on the track and how are they for daily driving... winter is coming up so i need some good tires for wet season also... thanx!
I used to run Kumhos on my 944 Turbo for autocross. They held rather well and I was happy with there performance. They were also a decent tire on wet sufaces. Always could stop when I needed to and overall were a comfortable ride. They also last a while and best of all not that expensive.
I would vote Kumho if your looking for a track/daily driver tire..

i would go for the Kumhos as well, if you're looking for treadwear and all-season performance, kumho is probably the way to go

I have em on my 99' gs-r and I think they are unbelievably good</TD></TR></TABLE>
spec-2 are cool but don't really see them treated to the max... IMO i think the ES100's are better than the spec-2's... i'm just bringing it down to those 4 since they are popular in the track/street area

My buddy got two fronts mounted and ballanced for a total of $50. grippy as all get up, decent wet traction too.</TD></TR></TABLE>
yeah i would LOVE to get the Azenis but the roads here are crap and depending on how much rain we get this year i don't want to smack against anything hydroplaning... i mean couple weeks ago some hich school girls smashed into the building next to my work from hydroplaning and they were in a bronco with 4x4 tires... scary ****... i hydroplane in my stock michelin's all the time so i need some tires before the rain gets here
