ok....my 91 accord is haveing automatic transmission problems. i only have 2nd and 3rd gear. sometimes ill have all gears but it shifts improperly and i my "s" light flashes, which is suppose to mean transmission malfunction but i dont get that light when i only have 2nd and 3rd. what is this?.... the computer?

 

I forget what it usually means, it could be the automatic computer going out (no biggy, get another one for cheap at a junk yard).....but I think it's a sensor...or it may quite reasonably be a true tranny malfunction. I say don't drive it until someone else who has a 90-91 accord responds...I have the 92-93 so I'm not as familiar with the Sport Shift thing flashing as I should be. sorry I couldn't be more specific for you.
