Default Final word on TB Pulley for Skunk 2 Manifold on GSR

Here is my situation, I have a skunk 2 manifold, I've tried using multiple TB pulleys and springs, which include:
-d16 TB pulley and spring
-1st gen b16 TB pulley and spring
the 1st gen pulley fits really bad, the d16 pulley fits perfect, but gets jammed because of the angle it hits the screw that stops it from closing.

What is the proper TB pulley and spring to use on the skunk 2 manifold, where did you anchor down the spring on the GSR TB? Did you modify the spring or the pulley in anyway?

Thanks alot

You will the the Type R throttle cable holder. It holds the cable onto the manifold as you can hopefully see in the attached pic.

You also need the Type R throttle cable.

And use the single cam throttle pulley, or anything other than GSR for that matter.

Let me know if you need any other help.

the single cam TB pulley and the VTEC TB pulley are different, i'm asking which one should be used. Is there a specific year to go after?

I am not aware of any difference between the years. Sorry I dont have a close up pic or anything but if you look closely the throttle body pulley will need to be positioned so the cable goes under it and then around to the top. Mine is from the stock d15 motor.

I will see if i can snap some more detailed pics.

i am using b16 tb pulley with gsr spring, works like a charm. You are right though, the b16 pulley is crap. I can't even WOT all the way because the pulley would not move anymore before the plate is fully opened.. still gotta fix that ****

I used a 93 civic cx pulley and spring. Put them on a 94 gsr throttle body, works just fine.
