Back when I had my 4age it failed horribly so I took it too the dealership and showed them the slip and they pointed out a few things to do including a new cat and it passed no problem.

more info man!!! what's the mileage on your engine? done a major tune lately? correct ignition timing? been playing with the cam timing lately? we don't know how to help you if we don't know the setup of your engine if you don't tell us.
Yup, most likely your cat and/or O2 sensor...

Is your car throwing any CEL codes?
Have you checked?
Sounds like your EGR system is not working correctly.
Also, Is your timing set to factory spec or is it advanced? Your timing settings could affect NoX.
Even if it is set to stock, you can back it down a few degrees (no more than 3 degrees from stock though) to help reduce NoX.
As others have stated, provide more info including mileage, mods, etc.
