Default injectors for a sohc turbo

1 heres what im thinking, i can get dsm injectors pretty cheap, and i was thinking i heard you can use them on hondas, well i want to keep my car obd0, how will these work? that's the fisrt part of my question

2 will i need more fuel flow for 6-10 lbs? i know i need a new fuel pump, will it actually need more fuel for that? im sure i have to run a fmu, im not sure what it is and what it does but ive been told ill need one, if anyone can elaberate on that one too, that be great. or i guess i could use teg injectors

if i dont need bigger injectors, just awnser that part first

thanks

what's up mugensport9 using dsm's for your supra/hybrid sohc?

good call

actually im getting mine from http://www.tamparacing.com

it's a local thing for all types of cars and trucks, but there is an import for sale section, i guess they could always ship them to you

It all depends on how much boost you plan on running. For example, I'm running 6-8 lbs. on my sohc vtec with greddy kit. I'm also OBD-0. The stock injectors will flow fine and I'm using a Cartech FMU with a GSR fuel pump. For the DSM 450's, its plug and play considering they need a resistor pack to use them (CRX's have them already). But you will definetly need a bigger fuel pump and either an SMC (do a search for it) or VAFC to control the fuel curve.

6-10 lbs of boost on dsm injectors. ODB-0 is already set for low impedance so just plug them it. They'll be kinda tight, but they'll go in. Get a safc or a vafc (if you have a vtec head). Subtract 40% fuel across the board (make it richer for idle -25% maybe).

BAM you are ready for turbo up to 10psi.

Currently I'm using the original '89 DX fuel pump with 6-7psi. I really need a new fuel pump though. Then I'll crank it up to 10psi.

Motor is an a6 with a z6 head running PM6.

That's what I did.

Do a search on "VAFC hack" in the Forced Induction section.
