Default My ITR

In this case, I no longer have most of the stock parts, and the time and energy it would take to convert it back to stock would be overwhelming any way, plus I understand that I'm not going to get what I put into it, for obvious reasons. I figure looking at all the reciepts, I have about 40K into the car in doing and redoing various things. Now, obviously I'm not any where near that unrealistic in terms of my expectations. On the same hand, I dont mind selling the car for the next year if necesary, ie. I dont mind waiting for the right buyer.

Ideally I'd like to get around 25K for the car, of course that being said, it most likely won't happen, but thats why there's that thing called compromise.

As far as the coilovers, I got them from the guy who maintains the website for JDMHondaparts.

Again, I love the car to death, but am finding my self putting money into it more often than I'd like, which at this point in my life, is just not an option. I'm getting the lip repainted prior to selling it, and will post pictures of it shortly, other than the ones I already had in previous posts.

Thanks for the opinions,
Aj

Part it out, then sell a "stock" ITR. It will take time and effort, but slow turn the car back to as stock as possible. I know it'll be hard to let go of some of the parts, but it'll all be worth it.

Mine is back to stock and the car feels great. I don't have any regret putting it back to stock... mods were nice, but they just weren't cost effective.

Well said. I tried to sell mine with all kinds of mods done to it. No one wanted it. Now that it is closer to stock i am getting more hits on it

Although what you say sounds all well and good, this post was actually meant as a part of another, but if you read it, you'll notice I dont have any of the stock parts.

The parts that I would have to replace on the car, are pretty much everything shy of the frame and some parts of the interior. It will end up costing me money in order to get stock parts to switch the moded ones with, then on top of that, I have to then turn around and try to sell them to make my money back....why the hell would I want to do that?

I'm not in any hurry to sell the car, I love it to death, I'm just tired of dumping money into here and there, and am ready for a new car. I'm not concerned about making it stock, cause I have the time to waite for the right buyer. I don't need the money, and am not in a rush to buy a new car, as I'd like one that's an 05' any way. So the way I figure, if I have to sit on it for the next 6-8 months to find a buyer looking for a really sick all motor ITR that already has everything done, then so be it.

I guess I'll find out how things go.....

I didn't realize you didnt' have any stock parts. I thought you were just missing a few stock parts here and there.

Anyway, good luck with your sale.
