Default Which motor?

I have a 1990 crx si and i have been in question if it is worth it to get the b16a2.
I love the 1/4, but top speed is nice too. Top speed isent really nessasary.
Plzz tell me what you think the best swap you would recomend 4 me.

I was kinda leaning tward an ls, and i dont want a zc.
I open to any suggestions, thx alot!

Go for a B18A. Cheap, reliable, decently quick, good torque.

Yes, but he wanted a cheap good value swap. B16 is faster but feels slower on the street. LS is a great swap for someone who doesn't drag all the time.

yeah i like the GSR but its a little too rich for my blood, im gonna go with a B18a then add a ctec head later in life, but im gonna build up the block with itr pistons and rods.

D-16 Y-8, cheap, easy to mod, and you could build the hell out of one for the cost of a B series swap

<---------------- y8

B18A (Cheaper than a VTEC mill, easily upraded to VTEC, Mad torque)
D16Y8/Z6 (Super Ultra Low cheap, alot of cheap aftermarket, lighter than a b series, can you say junkyard turbo?(Oh yeah VTEC too!)
