i just got a CRX Si 88 for 450! it snapped a cam shaft, the journals look pretty bad, i have a head for it, but i'm thinking it lost oil pressure because the camshaft journals are pretty melted, anyone know an easy way to check to see if the oil pump is any good without taking it all apart? i really don't wanna do all the that work but might have to if its the only way, i don't want to ruin the head i have too.
Other then that, the rear part is gutted, but he has all the origanal stuff, Si, seats, door panals, rims, everything seems good i think. Alittle rust near the rear quarter panal but nothing i can't fix. All in all i think it was a good buy, its never been hit so the frame is straight. Oh and brand new tires all around. Anyways, since i was building an f22a to throw in my accord, i think the plans have changed, i want to get the hasport mount kit for the lude enginie, and use it to throw in this accord motor. Its different so that what i want to do.. anyways, thought i'd share.. I've been wanting a CRX for so long, and finially i have one, and its an SI!
