I, just as well as everyone, have seen far too many posts about stolen hondas, but I have some good news for once. I talked to one of my friends today. His 1995 gsr was stolen out of his driveway a few nights ago. The following day police busted into the garage that the car was taken to, while the theives were taking the motor out of his car. So he got his car back, with a cut engine wiring harness, broken igition, and two broken windows. Police also managed to recover quite a few motors and other parts. I guess what the theives would do is cruise the highway and follow home all the nice cars,map out their plan and steal them. It's really to bad that this happens but at least police have saved at least one more honda... I'm glad my car is covered in my parents garage while I'm at school. This is the third honda of one of my close friends that has been stolen. btw: my friend still had the "DOHC VTEC" badge on the back of his car

What does grand theft auto usually get you in terms of jail time?

 

where was the car recovered? more details please, i love it when theives get caught!!!

yeah.....i would suggest to take it off! It's a dead giveaway and you must try to do anything to keep your car safe. Use the club, install a kill switch, etc.

upon hearing its from hwy 100 it doesnt surprise me.. This has happened too many times. ppl would carjack you while you were getting gas along that street. I stopped going on there a few years ago. Not worth getting my car stolen nor seeing ignorant ricers. Hows your car comming along stevieteg.

Too bad the cops didn't shoot them. I agree with the others; I hope they get to spend lots of "quality time" with Bubba.

lol, yeah the cops should have shot them. Does anyone know what kind of time sentence goes for grand theft auto? I'll keep everyone posted with what happens...

 

Props to the cops for finding the thieves...

Question though, how did they find the thieves anyway? Usually once your car is gone, it's found stripped ... not BEING stripped... unless you have LoJack, etc...

GTA is a felony offense but if they're "first time offenders", they may be able to give the whole "i'll never do it again" b.s. and get it lowered. Hopefully not but let's hope Bubba and Billy Bob teach them enough while they're in there (however long that is).
