Thats a really a sad sight to see. I watched a former ITR member's(Kibro) video tape of his R after it was stripped. I couldn't image the feeling you have after such an incident.

 

aside from the obvious gone yesterday looks like this today dead give away, anyone know how to tell this was a pro job? The radio is still there. The least important thing to them.

 

They found it on 3rd AVE and Glendale in a Church parking lot. The entire steal and strip took them under 12 hours. That was right next to Versus too...

Dr: The ECU is on the pass kick panel, they pulled it for the engine swap that will be in their civic tonight.

It *looks* like they left the 5 lug swap alone, which makes sense, it takes less time to pull the motor/tranny than the 5lug swap

 

Speed: they left the plate that goes over the ECU, the ECU itself is gone. The main wiring harness is probably gone too, but I didn't look that closely.

 

I don't know. It's hard as hell to get a hold of my adjuster because she leaves at 1:00 and never answers her freakin phone. Oh, and I was lucky enough to get the bi-lingual one, so I have to listen to her outgoing message in English and Spanish. takes me like ten minutes to leave a message.

 

Sucks man. Hope the insurance company straightens everything out for you.

 

Strange that they left the airbags, but it makes me think they stole it more to put in their civic after watching the Farce and the Furry Us, rather than stealing it to sell the parts.
Hopefully we will be reading about how they lost control drag racing on the street and smashed their type-r powered ricemobile into an unoccupied brick wall at 120mph.
I would feel alot better if they simply stole it for a joy ride (not even really knowing it was an R), or if they stole it to ship off to like Russia for the son of some ex-KGB mafia-type guy, but no, these ******* stole it to gut it out, strip out its parts so they can sell to some loser, or unknowing sod, or put it in their own car.
Hopefully, someone with a rap sheet left a fingerprint or two....*******

very selective in their theft... look at it... itr clock, gauge cluster, seats and door panels, front bumper/lights, EVEN THE DAMN BATTERY... all this stuff is going to go onto another integra. it would take a lot of work to pull the suspension so i'm assuming not enough time was why they didn't do that too...

i hope they catch the bastards too. unfortunately i wish i could do more to help but....
