my birthday is in 2 weeks and my girlfriend is actually interested in buying me stuff that i want, instead of stuff she wants me to have, like clothes she likes and stuff (you know what i'm talking about). so i'm thinking i'll suggest a relatively inexpensive gift. i'm looking for under $100. so far, i'm thinking a b&m FPR. cheap is good, but i want bang for my buck. if you need to know, i'm running a slow (for some undetermined reason) b18b with full intake and full exhaust. i already have nice spark plugs and decent wires. well let me know what i can get. thanks.

 

A short shifter, maybe shifter **** and new bushings. Thats what my girl bought me . Unless you have an intake mani and cams, the fpr will not really help.

I know that you want bang for your buck but my girl likes things that are shiney or take up some space. (Not saying that your girl is like that) Something that she could see on the car when she looks at it or has the hood popped. Maybe a strut bar, you can get a cheap pair front and rear for about a hundred. If it is not lowered you can get some springs or something from intrax for around that price.

 

i guess i should have listed everything then. intake, intake manifold, header, hi flow cat, cat back exhaust, shocks, springs, strut bars, short shifter, and i think thats it. i was also thinking about those really cheap coilovers to replace my springs. and i figured the fpr would help out with the i/m. anything else??? oh and i know my gf would like to see it when its on the car. thanks again.

 

Maybe something like a new shift **** or a pedal set, even somethink like a cool polished oil catch can. If anything the fpr is still a cool idea.

the fpr WILL help a lot... i had one on my D16a6 with stock intake mani, stock fuel rail/injectors, stock cam.... trust me the Fuel Pressure Regulator will do a lot, dont' listen to him.

How so ? If you don't have an after market cam or an after market intake, then why do you need to mess with your fuel pressure ? If your gonna say something at least back it up with why.
