Default Tein Super Street Coilovers with EDFC

does anyone have tein coilovers or an edfc on their car. i have tein ss and an edfc that never works right on my gsr. the front motors keep wrapping the wires around and cutting them off. this only happens in the front the back is fine. now one of the motors broke and i am getting a new one but was wondering if anyone has had this problem before or know a way to fix it. i have talked to someone who has an edfc on a wrx and has never had this problem. before i get flamed for not asking i did a search but found nothing that could help. so any advise would be great.
thanks

the edfc only works when all of the motors ar conected. once one brakes it is useless. but before they broke i really liked it.

i dont think tein super streets are compatable with the edfc...or tein just neglects to mention they are compatable on their brochures.

who cares....he's only got 3 posts....probably came on here to rant because his parents took his ps2 away.

on a more serious note, has anyone had any issues with the EDFC working for those that have it installed?

Look at this thread, I have replied to it 4 times excluding this one. The first one I asked you how you liked the EDFC. Then someone said that its not compatible and I asked why they said this. This was followed by several people that said it wasnt compatible with the Integras, I posted the link so they can go and prove themselves wrong. This is the point at which you chime in and bitch.

You are saying that I offered no help by providing a link to the Tein site to show that it is compatible with the Integra. However, I dont see you bitching at the people who are saying the EDFC, the system currently mounted on your car, isnt compatible and cant be mounted to your car.

about RUSTING:

i have Tein-HAs on my car.... and the rumors are true indeed: they rust (mainly the back set). I found rust at the very top of the assembly, where you have the damper adjustments. it will clearly NOT affect your cars handling in any way (thats just common sense). the rust can be cleaned off with any over the counter rust remover... but if youre a lazy *** and let the rust just eat away at the metal... then poo on you!

everyone knows how prone the integra hatches are to accumulating water in wet conditions (ie: rainy days)... i get little bits of water near my spare tire.... this is the cause.. moisture.

TEIN still gets a two from me.

oh...and for those with the EDFC... how serious are you guys about track racing/autox?

That's no rumor. I had HA's on my prelude for 2 years and they're rusty and seized to hell and back. BUT they're still Great coilovers. I'm looking into the Tein Type FLex because they're teflon coated... should not rust.
