My vtec seal is leaking and I want to order a replacement. Does the 94 del sol work? or should I order a different one.

Vtec seal? You mean the seal around the VTEC soleniod is leaking?

Not saying it's not, but I'd get a set of cam seals and replace them while you're in there too. They might be the culprit for the leak.

My cams seals are leaking right now too, I have the seals just been too lazy to tear her down to put em in.

 

all B series v-tec sols are the same

 

which is why some people use a prelude VTEC solenoid.... not sur eif it actually makes any difference though

 

my VTEC solenoid seal is leaking also, at least I think that is what it is... I have seen oil coming straight from it so I assume so, I just replaced all my other gaskets so I amm ssuming that is the case. damn thing wish I woulda knew about it when I changed my Valve cover gasket!

 

I ordered a 2000 acura integra gsr vtec silenoid gasket from acura, and it worked great on my jdm b16a . stop the leak completly

 

Thanks for the input guys. I do plan to replace the cam seals as well. It looks like both are currently leaking a little. Any of you replace the cam seals with the billet and o-ring type? If so are you completely happy with them?
