I decided at the weekend to make some adjustments to the ride height of my 94 lude . Did the standard things jacked the car, removed the wheel and after half an hour managed to get the lock ring undone with brute force. I am now stuck. I cant get the other ring undone that the spring sits on to make the ride height adjustment . I tried everything- extension bars, penetrating oil etc and all ive ended up with is cuts on my hands and a red face .
Can anyone recommend anything to help me with this. I thought about heating the ring with a blow torch but would this cause problems.
