why are the JRSC knocked so badly for the ITR's?

 

More than likely poor installation. here is a fantastic site...these guys know a thing or three about the JRSC. I learned alot from them. One of the big reasons why mine runs so great.

i've heard the main problem is the ITR ECU not adapting well to it with the kit's stock fueling solution. but if you went hondata, etc i'm sure it would kick some ***

no its not on ebay..I don't care for ebay much. I am selling the JRSC Type R kit. it has a polished intake mani...like you see in the pics..and the stock pulley and the upgraded 10 lb stepper pulley. it can go on every Bseries motor excluding the GSR.

ya kevin I am thinking its mostly the ITR's Vtec..prolly advances the timing to much..well too much for the now boosted motor..and causes alot of detonation...so then they retard it so much that the car runs like dog crap.....well that my theory anyway. but kevin is right with hondata or some other good standalone it would run fantastic. big power.

I don't post much on that site...just pick up good little tidbits now and then. But I was referrin you to that site..just in case you wanted to learn more about supercharging your car. there are alot of knowlegdeable people on that bored. but no I have only posted my kit up on Honda-tech. and still up for grabs for 1700.
