i have a 97 se with 106k on it..for about 3 years now i've alway came up with one problem...most parts i look at are for ex dx lx......but not much for the se....what exacly is the se compared to???it has the f22b non v-tec motor the se rims and the sweet looking purple paint(some people thinks it's black) and the wood grain dash trim.......

All LX's have power windows.

The SE is basically an EX with an LX motor/mechanical specs.

 

then why isnt 97 se is non vtec? drum rear brake?
no sway bar? and standard with auto?

based on a ex?

 

its basically in the middle of ex and lx. it has lx motor, brakes, etc. but it has ex cosmetic options.
