How much power can be made until an ignition amplifier is necessary?

How much power can be made until an ignition amplifier is necessary?
I made 300 hp with no ignition amplifier and the factory B18C internal coil. I was wondering if anyone had an hp estimate of when an upgrade would be necessary.
