Default Difference between auto tranny ecu and manual ecu??

Hey guys, I found a 1998 USDM H22 longblock with 69K miles on it for $1000 shipped to me. Is this a good deal??

The guy is also including the H22 auto tranny ECU with it. Just curious...what is the difference?? Can someone with a 5spd car use it??

I did a search and didn't find anything pertaining to this topic.
Thanks

Its a good deal as long as the motor isn't blown. No you can't use an Auto ECU in a Manual car, cause they are both different. The auto ECU only reads auto transmissions, and Manual ECU's read manual transmissions
