Default VTEC engagement?

I have 99 Accord 4cyl with T3/T04 FMIC and i was wonderin when you guys have your VTEC engagin? At a tune hsop they had my VTEC engaged at 2700. I thought that was ridicuolously low so i put it up to 3800. Any ideas... BTW i believe that Honda had VTEC engaged at 5200 on 6th Gen 4cyl Accords.

that seems really low for vtec engagement...you should just leave it at factory specs untill you get it tuned

i've actually seen a lot of vtec cars that have been tuned, set their vtec engagement point higher than stock to avoid that 'limp' associated with vtec engagement.
