I am about to purchase an ef8 Sir front bumper to go on my 90 si hatch. but from what I remember and can find through searches, the bumper is not a clean fit with the stock american headlights. is this the case? It would be sweet it it was a direct bolt on....nothings that easy though...and if it isn't, what would I need to complete the front end( headlights, fenders, etc??) thanks

oh and mine is actually an ef9 it was my mistake in posting that i forgot to correct but its the one that fits civic hb and sedans.

you mean the ef9 not the ef8... ef9 for the hatch, ef8 for the crx... you would need hood, all lights, bumper, rad suporrt, and maybe fenders. not sure

 

EDIT: i'm sorry i see there may be some confusing in my following statement. You can fit a HB SiR (EF9) bumper on a USDM HB with no modification and you can fit a CRX SiR bumper (EF8) on a USDM CRX with no mods...you see?

false so false...please refer to the link...you do not..i repeat YOU DO NOT NEED THE REST OF THE FRONT END IN ORDER TO MAKE THE BUMPER FIT???

if you do then how would you explain this picture (the bumper i'm selling) hmm looks to me like its on a stock USDM front end? interesting.

 

I see I see...well that is def a us front end...but it does look like there is a little overhang by the fenders..not really a big deal.
