Default Brake dust ARGH

Ok first question, whats good for cleaning up my brake rotors, lots of dust caked on them.

2nd question, i have Velox VX8 wheels, they are the black ones with a black finish and silver lip. Whats good for cleaning the silver lip? The Meguiars stuff i bought is kind of all purpose wheels so it doesn't seem to get the really hard to get off brake dust stains.

3rd question, i think i'm goin to do brake upgrades soon. Pretty sure i'll get Brembo rotors, but as for pads, i know there's different kinds as well as brands. Can you recommend a brand and kind (ceramic, kevlar, etc) that doesn't wear away and leave lots of dust?

To clean my rims I use Eagle One A2Z cleaner, but some people have seen continous use of this product lead to dulling of the rims. If you want a more neutral wheel cleaner try either S100 or Sonus wheel gel.

Once you get your wheel clean, add some sealant (mothers, klasse, etc) to your rims. Using this method, I've noticed that the brake dust doesn't stick to wheels as much and comes off with water.

Then stick to OEM pads, as there's no such animal as upgraded pads that don't dust. AEM Nissin would be the closest to what you're asking for, but performance increase is minor compared to Axxis Ultimates.
