has anyone used a 2000 itr ecu in an itr 98? i know that the middle plug is diffrent b/c of the imobilizer. i heard you can get the imobilizer takin out but is it possible? if not i have a itr 2000 p73 ecu for sale chipped by comptech for sell.(make offer)
ecu kicked *** in the itr i got it from! vtec from 43k to 93k pulls like hell!!!!!

I believe the size of the ecu and the plugs are different, aside from the immobilizer. It just won't fit unless you have an obd2a to obd2b adapter, from what I understand.

You'll need to run a conversion harness in order to use that ECU. IMO, not worth the money, when you could get a chipped p28 for the same price (maybe a little bit more) and gain more than you would with an 00-01 ecu.

I've also heard that if you remove the imobilizer, you're gonna have a constant cel, something that would (actually does right now) bother me to no end.
