Where did you hear that?
Everyone that I've talked to, people that have measured them, have told me that they are the same size as the USDM tbs.

JDM R TB are 66mm or 67mm. I saw a post a while back where someone measured it. It was a Photo of the Clipers and the TB Showed the DIgital Calipers Zeroed out and then measured the Bore up to 66/67mm and then Back to Zero.
I will try to find it

WHich Side is the Bore Measured From? Spoon Claims that the Standard Bore is 66mm. Which makes sense. The Spoon TB is over bored to 70mm. Tosay that the Stock Bore is 62 is to imply that the thinckness of the Stock TB is greater than 8mm.
I have seen JDM TB's Before but honestly I have never actually measured them. I can't find that thread yet but According to Spoon's write up they increased the Bore of the Standard by 4mm.

EDIT: Japanese doesn't work on here
Please check the http://www.spoon.jp I copied this statement directly from the site. Look under products intake and then look at TB
Even if you can't read Japanese you can understand the "4mm" Says the Diameter was increased by 4mm.

I measured one and it is indeed 66mm. Anyone have those Pics from that other post I am having trouble finding., Darn SEARCH function
If the Stock TB is 62 or 63mm it would be physically impossible to remove that much material to make a 70mm TB. Look at the Picture above the Standard TB can't be more than 3-4mm thick and removing 4mm from the radius would leave you with nothing. the Spoon tb is atleast 1-2mm thick which indicates that the bore diameter could not have been increased more than 4mm.

theres 2 measured for the TB , the one that spoon claims to be 70mm is the outside , went peeps tell you 62mm thats the inside (what bolts to the IM ) you should measure the inside of the TB .
