Default Friend's car got run over.....literally

a drunk driver freaked out and slammed his brakes...lost control, then swerved and ran up on the side of my friend's car he's ok, just shaken up....how much do you think the damage could be? we can't really tell about any frame damage, we were just wondering what the approximate cost to fix it would be....

drunk drivers

that sux. well i know from personal exp. that damage like that cost around $3800 on my 94 ex. but your friends could be worse. seeing that the trunk looks like it been hit too.

I'd say $4400 at a dealer shop. might be less somewhere eles......

well, since it doesn't look like he got too far into modding it, I would just consider it totalled and get a new car. Like someone said before, it will never be the same.

Hmmm......well from what I see.....I would have to estimate there is a good $4-5k in damage there probably not including if the frame or any suspension parts are damaged. I would assume it would either be really close to being totaled or totaled. Like another guy said......that car will never be the same now. Even thought it could possibly be fixed it wont ever ride the same.

Yeah..IF he got lucky all you need is a rear quarter and door skin. Which I'm sure you could find cheap too if you looked hard enough in a junkyard..but besides that... it looks pretty deep impact.. i would say try to get it totalled.

Same here. I was expecting to see more damage than that.

yeah i exaggerated a bit on the title, but the truck was on two wheels at one point....two on the ground and the other two on his car....the truck's broken corner light was sitting on my friend's dash after the accident

my girl's car looked much the same way after a dude ran a red light at 65mph and hit her. it was a little over $7,000 worth of damage to her EP. that one might be the same or they might just total it out depending on how much its worth.

i dont think its totalled. but that all depends on how much that car is worth... what year/model is it, miles etc. if its worth 9-10 it wouldnt be totalled if its only worth 6 then it might be...

i think the damages are probably anywhere from 4-6

It could be totalled but before anyone jumps to conclusion, we have to figure out how much the car was worth to the insurance company.

Model Year?
Model? (EX, DX, etc..)
Mileage?
